Moving In When Nathan and I first moved into our home, we spent countless hours cleaning, reorganizing, purging, etc. You name it, we did it. We had doubles of everything and despite the size of the house, too much stuff. Nathan, being your typical man, hadn’t purged a thing in his two years living in his condo. In fact, he accumulated. I, on the other hand, am the opposite and was always taking my things to Good Will. I purge my clothes about 2-3 times a year. I organize and reorganize anything I can. When the madness was over and we were fully moved in, we enjoyed life for quite some time as a worry-free, unmarried young couple. We took trips, celebrated family, spoiled our three dogs, and did lots of small home fixes. Inside and out, the house was looking pretty good. Soon, Nathan was showing me his grandiose plans (3D Cad drawings) for the house. He had been planning the look of this home for years. I loved it! After all, this was my first home. I had no experience in interior design, or choosing a type of tile for that matter. Little did I know what was coming… An engagement, a wedding and a renovation for the books. Here is the house when we first moved in.
